Finesse Moisturizing Restore and Strengthen Shampoo/ Conditioner

Finesse Hair Care

Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner

Restore & Strengthen

I have been reviewing the Finesse moisturizing shampoo and conditioner that Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian say is their secret to their amazing hair. I found it kinda hard to believe a $4 shampoo could ever be such a big deal to a celebrity and wanted to try it out for myself. If you read the Allure magazine back in October you may have seen that Kendall said this is what she used for her beautiful hair after Kim recommended it to her. Since it is so affordable and when I seen it in my local Walmart I decided to try it I mean if anything Id be wasting $8 or Id be finding just what I needed to fix my dry and damaged hair.

Before we get on with my review here is what they claim,

Get hair that’s healthier, stronger, and more alive with Finesse®.

Finesse® Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner

• Infused with active proteins, Finesse® Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner help restore and strengthen hair that is dry, damaged, stubborn, or sometimes frizzy. The active silk and soy proteins penetrate deep into the hair shaft, leaving your hair more moisturized and manageable. Your hair will feel clean and silky soft, while being easier to detangle and easier to style.

• Featuring Finesse' cult-favorite clean, fresh scent

• SRP: $3.99 each (and only $1.99 at Walmart)

• Available at: Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, and grocery chains such as Kroger, Shoprite, HEB, and Publix

Ok, so first off going into my local Walmart it was not that hard to find, I already knew what it looked like from online pictures and reviews. Secondly I was expecting to pay the 3.99 but they were $1.98 so yay a steal a little more pricey than suave but not as expensive as my usual Dove shampoo. So before using the shampoo and conditioner I decided to inspect my hair, basically do a little test to see how strong it was and if after using the products for a week if I would notice a difference. I have hypothyroidism so my hair is dry, brittle, and thin at this point it gets tangled pretty easily and I hate brushing it with fear of losing more of my hair.

So lets get to after using the product for a week after about 3 washes, my hair is soft. I don't mean like just a little softer I mean its noticeably a lot softer, and silky to where I do not have to brush my hair if I do not want to after the first time I brush it because it no longer wants to tangle up. My hair does feel healthier than its been in a long time. Ok, so the smell of the shampoo is not like any other shampoo I have smelt, its not unpleasant it just smells different. The texture of the shampoo and conditioner isn't as thick as my normal shampoo's and conditioner's which I figured meant they were  watered down and was going to be a waste of time and the money.

Here is a photo of after using for a week

So in conclusion I will continue to use and purchase as it is very much worth the $2 at Walmart, plus I am glad to actually have soft and silky smooth hair again.
